canola fields in bloom.
Have you ever feasted yours eyes on this sight? It is one thing that Alberta is famous for and if you have never seen this beauty in real life, it is high time..
We have been having rain, Rain, and more RAIN!
everything is wet-- our one lawn has water sitting in it and the rest of yard is mud it seems
. . . . .
today it only rained for about ten minutes so that was fine with me
clouds were in the sky all day tho' so that was slightly depressing..
But then, right at supper time, the sun peeked through the gray cloudy-ness
and SHONE brightly with its glorious beams!
we ate our supper on the deck then
&
right when we were finished chewing our rice and ginger chicken stir-fry,
the sun said "farewell" and went back behind the clouds~
thank-you, sun, for shedding your brightness on our meal for a spell..
we appreciate you
come back tomorrow!
(or else)
. .
.
Oh that is beautiful! Makes me all Alberta-lonely...
