mortal jeans
So yes, he was bringing a jug of spring water into a business called Lindstrand Auctions. The secretary/owner/male told him they had enough water. He reluctantly carried the liquid back outdoors. The air was warm on that day. He jogged around the side of the water van and-- Whoosh! he slipped on a patch of snowy ice. His right knee skidded onto the ashphalt and ripped a hole in his blue jeans and made drops of blood appear on his knee and jean leg. Thankfully the jug of water worth $6.75 that he carried did not crack or break..
Okay that is my story for the day. I like hearing about people's injuries (if they feel like telling me) so if anyone feels like describing a recent mishap, please do so in a comment below :) I might enjoy reading them and other people might too.

She was playing with her students on the rink, pulling them around with a hockey stick. One of them pulled funny and over she went, banging her elbow. That was over a week ago and it still hurts to put any weight on it.
ReplyDeleteshe dreamed somebody was twisting her ear. she awoke in the morning and it HuRt. it still hurts. Especially when she smiles. i don't know what happened to her. hopefully she continues smiling.
ReplyDeleteshe was helping someone hitch a trailer to a pickup when the jack slipped and made her fall to the ground. the trailer hitch hit her foot and fractured it. it is slowly getting better to where it was before that happened. :)
ReplyDeleteNebs: I can just see you landing on the ice! It always looks humorous when people fall even tho' I don't usually laugh because I'm sure it hurts them.

she was playing football with her siblings...the other team was winning(o horrors)so with much concentration she kept her eyes on the ball and the ball alone. Unfortunately so did her brother..they both leaped for the oncoming ball! Smash! they collided in midair.
ReplyDeletedown they fell into a large clumsy heap on the brown grass. "ouch! sorry man i truly didnt mean to tackle you! just didnt see you!" they both slowly got up, making sure everything was intact. And then the game continued.
I do enjoy this story aMbeR! I would've liked to witness it in person..
