dancing tree

this day was wonderful in more than one way! the sun shone gloriously and the hangover (or what do you call it when you get home from a weekend trip and then have to get back to work on Monday?) was not too bad... the dog, Zeeba, was very enthused to have the farm back under control and in its normal cycle so he wagged his tail with joy. The hamsters that we brought home from Enderby were glad to have the eight-hour drive behind them but they did not squeak with joy. It was a little discouraging to come back to this brownish-green world over here after swimming in the clear sparkling lake in the Okanagan Valley. Everything is so lush and green and peaceful over there with wildflowers and daffodils blooming in every direction. Friday evening there was a science fair at the school where my sis teaches so 'twas enjoyable to see what all the children came up with for their demonstrations. Some of my favotites include: a fire tornado, water-powered rocket, chicks that were died rainbow colors while they were still in the egg, (even their feet and beaks were died the same color!) hamster versus mice races, and a balloon popper. One of my friends emailed me this link so I thought I would share it with you. It has some amazing info! click here!
