breakfast situation

     breakfast is a tricky thing. they say you're supposed to eat lots at breakfast time, but rarely do I feel like eating lots for the first meal of the day. Coffee is always great frist thing in the morning tho' --Saturday breakfast is usually the worst in my opinion.. because you sleep in a bit and when you finally do get up you are feeling rather weird and overslept already. Then you start looking forward to this wonderful breakfast of pancakes or waffles or crepes or something equally sweet. By the time you are finished eating you feel like you ate plus the sun is shining in the window and making everything look sticky & greasy-

     ...Anyway; last night I decided I was going to make waffles for breakfast the next day & got out the waffle iron and Kitchen Treasures cook-book so that I would be right ready to start in the morning. So this morn I woke up and started mixing that batter. The waffle iron was warming up nicely and I sprayed PAM (which iLove) onto it...then I got out a measuring cup and got a little scoop of dough. I poured it on the iron and closed the lid. Then I thought, "Oh no!" that is not going to be enough dough__so I opened the lid once more & poured just a little bit mor on it, then closed the lid as it sizzled happily. Seconds later I opened the lid and
             SCORE!!
                              inside lay a perfectly formed waffle! There was no half-cooked dough sticking out the sides and it was turning a nice, golden-brown. That made me happy; but I'm sad to say that none of the other waffles I made this morning turned out as fabulous as the first one...
